You will be treated by the physician of your choice.  The admitting physician will take care of your registration.  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify your doctor and Kursana Private Hospital.

If you are scheduled for surgery, you will usually be admitted the day before your operation.  In the event that you do not arrive until the day of your surgery, we ask you not to eat or drink anything for 8 hours prior to the surgery.

1. The surgery date

• You and your doctor have scheduled an appointment for surgery at Kursana Private Hospital in Wörgl.

2. Getting ready for surgery 

• The anaesthesia team of Kursana Private Hospital in Wörgl would like to get to know you before your operation.
• Please make an appointment with our team as soon as possible. 
• You can call us on +43 5332 74 572 43 from Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 11 AM.
• Please read the anaesthesia information sheet before making the appointment and have it ready at hand when you call us.
• In the event that our anaesthesia team decide that you need some pre-anaesthesia check-ups, we would ask you to have these done as soon as possible and to submit us the results.  This can be done by fax (+43 5332 74 572 22), by email (info@gzw.at) or by post (Kursana Privatklinik Gesundheitszentrum Wörgl BetriebsgmbH, Fritz-Atzl-Straße 8, 6300 Wörgl).

3. The day of your surgery

• You are not allowed to eat or drink anything after midnight the night before surgery.  Before that, you should only have light food.
• You are allowed to drink still water (no sparkling water) until 4 AM.
• You need to stop smoking at the latest on the day of your surgery.
• We will await you from 6:30 AM in the inpatient ward of Kursana Private Hospital in Wörgl.
• The anaesthetist on duty will welcome you personally.

Our cosy and comfortably equipped rooms come, amongst other things, with internet access and cable TV.  Beyond that, you will have various national and international newspapers and magazines at your disposal

You can make your stay as pleasant as possible: Upon request, you can use our in-hospital manicure, pedicure or hairdressing services.

Our kitchen team see to your culinary wellbeing.  Apart from delicious breakfasts, you can choose from among four different menus for lunch and dinner.  We also cater for special dietary requirements, offering low-cholesterol foods, foods for diabetics and weight-loss-friendly foods.

Your family and friends may visit you every day between 9 AM and 8 PM.

If you leave our hospital again, the ward and/or administration will organise everything that is necessary for your discharge.You do not have to take care of any formalities.We will be happy to do that for you.
